Fishing
Get your bait ready and cast into scenic views of Gagnon's Bay. With a public boat launch just 200 metres away, you are sure to catch several species of fish including Walleye (Pickerel), Whitefish, Yellow Perch, Smallmouth Bass, and Northern Pike. For the cold Winter months we have an ice fishing hut available for use.
Experience Mother Nature's Footprint
Throw on a thermal coat, pack the hiking bag and experience the thousands of kilometers of trails designed for snowmobiling, ATVs, snowshoes, and hiking right out of the driveway. The "A" trail is less then 500 metres away centrally located between Cochrane and Hearst taking you through an unbelievable grid of pristine local snowmobile trails. Also experience the Moonbeam Snowmobile Clubhouse that is 3 KM away. If you're quiet you may be able to get some candid shots of the beautiful wildlife that surrounds.
Remi Lake
Remi Lake near Kapuskasing is the perfect outdoor escape for your family and a nature lover's paradise. With convenient boat launching, Remi Lake is also perfect for boat lovers who enjoy tubing, water skiing, canoeing, and whatever else floats your boat!
Gagnon's Bay
The Southwest thumb of Remi Lake lies another body of water that's rich in nature. Visit Gagnon's Bay and experience more fishing and hiking with elevated terrain.
Town of Kapuskasing
Just 20 minutes away you can visit the town of Kapuskasing. Here you will find a Walmart Superstore, Canadian Tire, Fast Food (A&W, KFC, McDonalds, Pizza Hut), Chuck's Roadhouse, O'Brien's Classic Grill, the Hospital, and a Super 8 Motel. Bring back some food if you feel like chefing up in our large kitchen.
